This week in the African startup ecosystem, the key events making the headlines began with The Guardian taking legal action against logistics startup Kwik. Egypt's OneOrder successfully raised $16 million in a Series A round to expand into the GCC region, underscoring the growth of food supply chain solutions.
Egyptian VC firm Glint announced a $3 million first close of its second fund, aiming to bolster regional investments. Additionally, in the VC space, OpenseedVC reached the first close of its $10 million fund to support operators in Africa and Europe, continuing to bolster investor confidence in early-stage startups.

Led by Tarek Aboualam and Youssef Helmy Habib, Glint Fund II empowers Egyptian entrepreneurs with early-stage investments ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 per ticket.
